    Community Healing & Resilience (CHR) Workshops

    YWCA Elgin, in partnership with Wellness Support Circles (WSC), offers free 60–90 minute healing circle workshops for organizations and community members. These circles provide a welcoming space to pause, breathe, and feel supported through restorative dialogue, gratitude practice, and mindfulness—helping participants reduce stress, process trauma, and build resilience together.

    Red Cross First Aid & CPR Certification

    Be ready to help when it matters most. YWCA Elgin offers Red Cross-certified First Aid and CPR courses that teach essential life-saving skills in a hands-on, supportive setting. Whether you're training for work or personal knowledge, you'll leave feeling confident and prepared.

    Course Information

    This hybrid Red Cross Adult/Child CPR & First Aid course includes a 4.5-hour self-paced online training and a 2-hour in-person training.

    Join us for beginner-friendly movement classes focused on flexibility, strength, posture, and stress relief. Open to the community—no set fee; donate what you can. Free for YWCA staff, members, and current students.
