Our Work

Our work, here at the YWCA, benefits women and families in the Elgin area. Our programs give women and families the ability to improve their future. Our programs address the fact that far too many women experience violence, and lack economic security. These issues are more likely to impact women of color. If we want to empower all women, we must also tackle racism.
