#GivingTuesday

A- A A+

#GivingTuesday was a success, thanks to you!

Fantastic news! Because of you, we were able to raise $4,965 on #GivingTuesday, which means that we will receive the full $4,000 match (provided by anonymous donors). This means that the YWCA Elgin will receive a total of $8,965 from #GivingTuesday.

These funds will allow us to continue Building Brighter Futures for our clients through our programs and services, such as subsidized childcare to working families, free childcare to military veterans through the Tiny Boots program, English classes to those looking to improve their lives through education, preschool to our Family Literacy children, providing clothing to the needy, prom dresses to at-risk youth, Digital Literacy camp for teens, drop-in childcare to Community Crisis Center clients, Citizenship Services, and Workforce Development to those looking to increase their employability. We are continually striving to promote diversity and strengthen families in the Elgin area through outreach and education.

We encourage you to visit our social media accounts for program updates.

Thank you again for your support and generosity!

With warm regards,

YWCA Elgin
